This is the place where I'll try to record some of the kids' kitchen adventures. The name was Aaron's idea. I let them make chocolate chip cookies the other day by themselves and Aaron told me later the we should have a blog called "The Red Spatula .com" because I kept telling them to use the one we have in our kitchen. I thought it was pretty cute so I added it as a page. It will be easier for me to keep up with than another blog. =)
BTW, the cookies came out fantastic!

So I finally am getting around to putting up some pics. A couple weeks ago, I let the 4 oldest each make a loaf of bread as part of a schooling exercise. Goals: learn to follow instructions precisely as well as learn the chemistry behind baking bread. Bonuses: fresh hot bread plus extra to freeze.
